Who is Forestar Real Estate Group?

Forestar Real Estate Group is a growth company committed to maximizing shareholder value through our three business segments: Real Estate, Mineral Resources and Fiber Resources. We currently own approximately 372,000 acres of real estate located in 10 states and 13 markets, and approximately 622,000 net acres of oil and gas mineral interests.

We create sustainable value through real estate entitlement, development and investment that leverages our skills, expertise and portfolio. Our projects include single-family, master-planned community developments, as well as sites for commercial and multi-family uses. We maximize value of our natural resource assets through royalties and other lease revenues from our oil and gas mineral interests. In addition, we sell wood fiber from our forest holdings and lease land for recreational uses. Revenue generated from these assets is used to accelerate our real estate value creation activities.
