Our fiber resources segment maximizes the value of our land through wood fiber sales, recreational licenses and mitigation banks.
Located primarily in Georgia, Forestar has about 143,000 acres of timber in various stages of growth on our undeveloped land and land in the entitlement process. We also sell wood fiber from our land, lease land for hunting and other recreational uses, and manage our interests in mitigation banks.
Forestar's portfolio is unique and diverse. We continually reassess our land's value for timber production, recreation, and mineral asset uses — ensuring we always capture the greatest possible value from each and every acre.
